Yoga Retreat Venue & Private Jungle Villa in Sri Lanka

The Jungle Villa was an absolute gem. The booking process was seamless, with the host being exceptionally responsive, helpful, and accommodating throughout. The villa looked exactly as pictured and was nestled amidst lush greenery, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were equally outstanding—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway.

Jungle Villa is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Surrounded by lush jungle, the location is absolutely gorgeous and extraordinarily peaceful. The pool is super aesthetic, perfect for unwinding while chilling with the jungle trees surrounding us. If you're looking to truly disconnect and get a full mental detox, this is the ultimate spot. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful week at the Jungle Villa with our retreat group of 16 people. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always available. The villa is overall a great place for retreats—most rooms are bright, spacious, and lovely. However, two rooms are under the pool, with low ceilings, quite small, and dark. You should know this upfront—they’re not on par with the others, and we had some guest issues due to that. The bathrooms there are small, water pressure was minimal, and at night, the pool pump could be heard inside. We wish we had known beforehand, as it wasn’t clear from the pictures for us. Overall, a great place—just clarify the room details!

Jungle Villa Ahangama is a beautiful retreat with an amazing pool and a great location. The surroundings are peaceful, perfect for relaxing your mind. The walking path is lovely, though a bit slippery, so caution is needed. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable. One thing to note is that the road leading to the villa is a bit narrow in some places, but overall, it’s worth it for such a serene and charming spot.

We had a group of 16, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the facilities, the villa is set perfectly in the lush jungles, modern, sleek design, soft beddings, its mostly brand new. The staff are really good and co ordinating arrivals times and other requests along the stay. Definitely worth the money for large groups. It was an eventful 31st new year and its best spent at the jungle villa.

I ran a retreat here and we had a wonderful time. My favourite part was the people, everyone cared that we had a great stay and always responded positively to our requests and needs. Our cook (Saman) is a wizard in the kitchen so make sure to include food on your retreat. Priya our house manager is friendly and made sure we're well taken care of. The venue itself is wonderful with beautifully decorated rooms, a fully equipped yoga Shala and a pool with a view to die for. You're far away from the bustle to relax but close enough for convenience as there's plenty around to do including the cinnamon experience. Highly recommend this stay, we had a blast!
