We don’t run our own retreats here. The Jungle Villa exists specifically as a venue for yoga teachers, breathwork facilitators, wellness practitioners and retreat leaders who bring their own guests and host their own programmes.

That means:

  • You set the schedule. Morning practice, afternoon excursions, evening sound baths — the day runs how you want it to run.
  • You bring your own community. Your students fly in, settle into our jungle, and you guide their experience.
  • The venue is yours, exclusively. No other groups, no shared spaces, no compromises during your dates.
  • The shala is included. Our 60m² covered yoga shala — ample space for 17 mats — is part of every retreat hire, with mats, bolsters and props provided.
  • The logistics are handled. Airport transfers, full board catering with a private chef, daily housekeeping, security and on-site staff are all arranged by us.
  • You keep full ownership of the experience and the revenue. We’re a pure venue rental — your retreat, your branding, your pricing.

Our food is Sri Lankan and Western fusion to provide guests with local flavours as well as home comforts.
We look for quality to ensure only the tastiest food makes it onto your guests’ plates.

Ahangama is the vibrant heart of Sri Lanka’s flourishing South Coast, and our villa is hidden right behind its center. 

Take in the laid back vibe, where stylish coffee spots and boutique eateries sit alongside local markets and curry shacks.

Traditional stilt fishermen dot the shoreline, and nearby attractions like Galle Fort and local tea plantations make Ahangama a perfect blend of culture and relaxation.

Yes — that’s exactly what the venue is for. You bring your guests, set the schedule, and run your retreat. We provide the venue, the shala and the full ground-team.

Yes. Our 60m² covered shala on the edge of the jungle is included in every retreat booking, along with yoga mats, bolsters and props for up to 17 students.

The villa sleeps up to 17 guests across 8 en-suite bedrooms. Exclusive use is included in every retreat booking.

We typically take retreat bookings of 5 nights or more. Get in touch for shorter or longer requests.

The nightly rate covers the entire villa, the yoga shala, full housekeeping, 24/7 security and use of all facilities. Food (full board, half board or breakfast) is added per person per day. Airport transfers and excursions can be arranged on request.

Either works. Our private chef serves a Sri Lankan/Western fusion menu that flexes to your guests’ dietary needs, but if you’d prefer to bring your own chef for a specific cuisine, that’s welcome too.

We’re about 7 minutes by tuk-tuk from Ahangama’s main beaches and surf breaks, and roughly 2 hours from Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB).

The South Coast’s high season runs November to April, with reliably warm, dry weather. May to October is our low season — quieter and greener, with occasional showers and lower pricing.
